Even with the recent changes of managers at Manchester United, Donny van de Beek still can’t find regular playing time with the Red Devils.
That’s a very good reason for other clubs to be interested in taking the Dutch midfielder away from Old Trafford, hoping he can recover the good form from his old days at Ajax.
Today, Spanish outlet Fichajes features a story claiming that Inter Milan are one of the clubs who’d like to sign the Manchester United player in the January window.
Nerazzurri manager Simone Inzaghi is claimed to be the ‘main supporter’ of Van de Beek’s arrival at the club.
With the ‘difficulty’ of signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio, it’s said the coach has put the Dutchman’s name ‘on the table’ for a winter move.
There’s no information on how much van de Beek’s transfer would cost in January.
Judging by the only 19 minutes he managed to have under Erik ten Hag’s this season, it’s hard to imagine the Red Devils making big efforts to hold onto him.
The player has a contract with Manchester United running until 2025, and is valued by Transfermarkt at €20m.
