As Wednesday night’s result against Burnley showed, Manchester United aren’t having the best of times.

Unable to find the back of the net despite having 24 shots, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are having to heavily rely on an out-of-form Anthony Martial, and are sorely missing Marcus Rashford’s input in attack.

That’s why there’s been a number of reports about Manchester United being interested in a new striker, and a recurring name has been that of Lyon’s Moussa Dembélé.

Those pushing the story the most have been Foot Mercato, and their latest article on the matter explains the Red Devils have watched the 23-year-old during his last two outings against Nantes and Lille.

Dembélé scored in both those games, and there’s an expectation that United could end up rivalling Chelsea for the Frenchman, since they desperately need help up top.

With just over a week left in the transfer window, things could get very exciting in the next few days.
