Earlier today we covered claims from Marca that Valencia have made a move to sign Dani Ceballos.

The Spanish newspaper said Arsenal wouldn’t stand in the way of a transfer, because Mikel Arteta isn’t counting on the midfielder. AC Milan were also presented as interested, but Ceballos would prefer a return to Spain where he hopes he can shine and win a place in the national squad for Euro 2020.

Real Madrid would take their player back from London and send him elsewhere, that was the plan.

AS completely disagree on the stance of the Premier League club.

They say Arsenal won’t open the door for an exit and their idea is to keep Ceballos on loan until the end of the season. Arteta may not be using the player now, but that could change over the coming months, especially if the club is hit by injuries.

Valencia interest is backed up, and it’s suggested the situation could change between now and the end of the window, but on the Gunners stance, AS and Marca contradict each other.
