According to a claim in the Italian media, Manchester United sent a scout to the game between AC Milan and Fiorentina last weekend.
TMW have reported the Premier League side were present at the San Siro on Saturday to watch the Viola defeat AC Milan 1-0. It’s claimed Manchester United were getting a lowdown on Milan’s right back Davide Calabria, and the Italian played the full 90 minutes.
With doubts over the futures of Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian the Italian football outlet believe the Red Devils will be in the market for a right back in the summer and it seems Calabria is an option.
It’s also reported Manchester United were watching Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic as well, he’s been linked previously.
There’s been Italian claims of offers for the Serbian, including from Old Trafford, but there’s no mention of that this time.
