Paul Pogba is a topic of discussion even outside the transfer window as the midfielder has been linked with a move away from Manchester United since the summer of 2018.
The France international’s efforts to join Real Madrid last summer weren’t successful as the Red Devils were firm in their decision to retain their star.
His agent, Mino Raiola, was at the San Siro to watch the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final clash between AC Milan and Juventus and after the tie, TuttoMercatoWeb managed to get hold of the representative.
Apart from Real Madrid, Juventus are also reported to be interested in their former player.
When asked if the Old Lady will succeed in their dream to bring Pogba back to the Turin club, Raiola said: “The market is over and the other has yet to arrive.”
The 26-year-old’s contract runs down in 2021, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have an option to further extend it by a year.
TMW claims Pogba’s farewell from United after the end of the season ‘seems practically certain’. However, the report doesn’t specify his next destination.
Tuttosport have another version of comments from Raiola, in which he opened the door for Pogba’s return to Italy.
“As for Ibra, also for Pogba, Italy is a second home and he wouldn’t mind going back to Juventus, but we’ll talk about it after the European championship…” Raiola explained.
