Ashley Young’s agents will be in Milan on Friday morning, report FCInterNews.
The Manchester United fullback is thought to be eager to push through a move to Italy during the current market. It’s been reported he already has an agreement with Inter, although FCInterNews say the details of that have changed a little.
Whilst the Italian side were initially offering a contract until the end of the season, and then another year if Young made a certain number of appearances, they’ve now agreed to a straight 18 month deal, which is what the player’s agents had requested.
It’s not clear exactly why the agents are travelling. It may be to convince Inter to offer a small fee to Manchester United for a January move.
Should that be the case then the trip could be a waste of time, because it’s been made very clear in the Italian media that Inter have no intention of paying to get the player early.
