When Serie A transfers are about to happen, we always wait for the claims of ‘white smoke’ coming from the local press.

We almost get to that point today, as FcInterNews claims the white smoke ‘is close’ from coming out as Manchester United and Inter Milan finalise the deal for Alexis Sanchez.

The website states the latest updates have been positive, as the clubs have been negotiating the last details of the transfer.

They say Alexis Sanchez should land in Italy on Wednesday or Thursday, so he can soon have his medicals and then sign a contract for the Nerazzurri.

Despite the hot updates, FcInterNews doesn’t really bring any new details on how much Inter Milan will be paying to get the Chilean international.

According to claims from the past few days, the idea from Inter would be to get the 30-year-old on a €2-3m paid loan with a view to buy at €12-15m, while United pay for half of his wages for the next year.
