On Monday, Sport stated Barcelona have offered Manchester United an opportunity to sign Ousmane Dembélé for €20m in the winter market.

Later that day, Mundo Deportivo came out with a report explaining the Red Devils have ‘real interest’ in the winger.

The 24-year-old has less than six months left on his contract and has refused to sign a new deal at the Camp Nou so far. Therefore, the La Liga side are looking to offload the player this month in order to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.

El Chiringuito TV journalist José Álvarez now brings more information related to the France international and the Premier League side.

Álvarez claims the former Borussia Dortmund man has his ‘bags ready to fly out’ of the Catalan club. He then adds Xavi Hernández’s side have ‘proposed a swap’ deal to United, involving Dembélé and Anthony Martial.

The journalist explains that Barcelona president Joan Laporta is ‘looking for a way out’ for Dembélé, despite the fact that the Blaugrana man continues to play and has been a key player in recent outings.

Barca have ‘offered’ Manchester United a swap deal involving Dembélé and Martial, but there is no mention whether the Old Trafford club are interested in carrying out this operation in January.
