For the Turkish press, the transfers rumours never stop, especially when it comes to their young talented players.
The latest to be thrust into the spotlight is Yusuf Yazici, currently playing for Trabzonspor.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder broke into the Süper Lig side’s first-team properly during the second half of last season, and while tentative rumours sending him to Liverpool appeared in August, nothing concrete ever emerged.
However, according to Fanatik, as well as Jürgen Klopp, José Mourinho and Manchester United are now looking at Yazici.
Scoring six goals and picking up 10 assists in 22 appearances last season, the versatile midfielder has continued his decent form into the new season, hence the interest.
Monaco appear to be the favourites in this scenario, with talk of a €14m bid being prepared by the principality side, but the interest from Old Trafford and Anfield is sure to increase that if it is indeed serious.
A member of the Trabzonspor board assured Fanatik that no official bid had been made, probably because the summer transfer window has only just closed, but that could easily change down the line.
While it seems unlikely that neither Liverpool nor Manchester United will make a bid in January, the name of the two Premier League sides is bound to reappear next to Yazici’s in the coming months.
