Juventus, who won’t be finishing top of Serie A for the first time in a while, are going to undergo a rebuild this summer.
It’s been made clear by several newspapers that pretty much all of the squad was for sale, apart from a select few.
Of course, Manchester United targeted one of those in Dejan Kulusevski, and have been met by a brick wall.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who explain Juventus ‘always know how to say no’, and did just that when the Red Devils came knocking for the Sweden international.
This is because the Serie A side ‘have no doubts about the investment made a year and a half ago’, so much so that ‘every form of enquiry is returned to sender’.
Manchester United are those labelled as ‘most interested’ in the player, having put him ‘at the top of the list of Juventus players they like’.
That’s what the text says, although the title of the Calciomercato says they ‘refused an offer’ from the Premier League side.
Make of that what you will, but, either way, Manchester United aren’t getting near Kulusevski.
