Manchester United are showing interest in Brighton & Hove Albion star Leandro Trossard, according to claims coming from Belgium.
Graham Potter has used the 27-year-old across various attacking positions in the last two seasons, during which time he managed 13 goals and eight assists from 73 matches in all competitions.
His performances and the time left on his Brighton contract [which lasts until 2023] have caught the attention of the Red Devils. These two factors make the ex-Genk man an interesting option in the market.
According to RTBF, via Voetbalkrant, Manchester United are ‘interested’ in the Belgium international, who has turned out to be one of the stars for the Seagulls in the last few seasons.
That’s about the only information the report has to say about Erik ten Hag’s interest in the player.
If Manchester United decide to make an approach for the attacker, he could be open to a move. Last month, Trossard told Het Belang van Limburg that he is ready to take the next step in his career, even though he is content at Brighton.
