Earlier this week, both Bild and Sky Germany reported Manchester United are interested in Jadon Sancho and want to sign the Borussia Dortmund star before the start of Euro 2020.
The Red Devils have less than a month’s time to complete the winger’s signing.
BVB sporting director Michael Zorc has already admitted his side will let the 21-year-old leave if certain conditions are met.
Sancho starred in his side’s 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal final, scoring a brace. After the ‘gala in the cup final,’ his future is likely to be away from the German club.
That’s according to Sport1, who say Manchester United are ‘still in pole position’ to land the former Manchester City academy player. They further add the Old Trafford club ‘is and will remain the club of choice’ for the attacker.
As per the report, talks between United and the England international’s representatives are ‘already underway.’
Manchester United, however, are yet to start official negotiations with Dortmund, which is why no formal proposal has arrived yet at Signal Iduna Park.
Sport1 point out Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side would need around €85-90m to bring Sancho to England in the summer.
