Jadon Sancho is Manchester United’s priority transfer target, and Borussia Dortmund had given a deadline of August 10th to agree a €120m deal.
That has since passed and Michael Zorc has stressed the winger will continue at the Bundesliga club beyond the summer window.
On Tuesday, ESPN reported Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have identified Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé as an alternative to Sancho.
Sport explains Barca, in principle, would consider the 23-year-old’s sale or allow him to go out on loan as long as a mandatory purchase option is included in the deal. The Catalan club are ‘asking €90m’ for the France international.
That’s because United have doubts over the attacker’s fitness, given he’s struggled with multiple injuries over the past few years.
It’s claimed the wideman is a ‘risky investment’.
Sport add Dembélé’s injury woes coupled with Barca’s €90m asking price will make it ‘difficult’ for him to leave the Camp Nou this summer.
