With four Greece caps already to his name at the tender age of 19, Christos Tzolis is catching the eye of many around Europe.
One of those clubs, according to Sportime in Greece, is Manchester United, who are always on the lookout for the next breakthrough talent.
Their purchase of both Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo last summer was a clear indicator of the trend they intend to follow when it comes to signings under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Tzolis fits the bill perfect.
Already a key member of the squad at PAOK Salonika despite his young age, the left-winger, who can also play through the middle or up front in case of emergencies, is on the shortlist of a few clubs.
Sportime believe Tzolis has ‘Europe at his feet’, with Borussia Dortmund having ‘checked him repeatedly’ as they ‘highly appreciate his abilities’.
Over in England, ‘even people from Manchester United have been scouting Tzolis’, and PAOK are said to be ‘waiting for the biggest offer ever submitted’ for one of their assets next summer.
A previous article from Sportime explains the Greek side will be asking for €20m, knowing full well ‘he is one of the most talked about footballers in the offices of dozens of clubs’.
Either way, ‘the summer will be of great interest’ for PAOK and Tzolis, and maybe even for Manchester United.
