Benfica striker Haris Seferovic is now closer to joining Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from Portugal.
This rumour has grown following claims from a couple of outlets this week, and it was now time for CMTV to back it up.
Pundit Fernando Mendes says ‘the man is nearly at Tottenham’, claiming this is an information he’s just received.
He didn’t have many other details on how things have been going, only saying the striker is now ‘closer’ on joining Spurs.
Tottenham’s chase for Haris Seferovic was first reported by TVI24 and then backed up by newspaper Record this week.
It’s been claimed Spurs first tried to sign the player on a permanent deal back in January, following Harry Kane’s injury. Now they’re reportedly making another attempt, this time on a loan deal.
The Swiss striker is seen as a cheaper alternative for Carlos Vinícius, another Benfica striker whom the Eagles are expected to fight harder to keep.
