The Uriel Antuna saga goes on, but now it seems it won’t take long before the Manchester City player finds a new club.
Mexican outlet Cancha has a column today which brings the possibility of Chivas Guadalajara announcing his signing in the next week.
They say he’s one of the players who could be on his way to the Mexican side, since LA Galaxy admitted his loan spell has come to an end. Now Chivas must find a deal with Manchester City.
With Ricardo Pelaez officially becoming Chivas’ director next week, he could be able to announce the signings of Antuna and Marco Fabian when starting his job.
Antuna hasn’t been avoiding talking about the rumours. Yesterday, we covered one of his interviews with the Mexican press in which he said he hopes he ‘go to a good team’, and confirmed that there have been talks with several sides.
A price has been estimated at $10m, which seems on the low side given his breakthrough with the Mexico national team.
