Real Betis’ priority is to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, while Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko is also on their radar.
Wednesday’s edition of ABC Sevilla claims Los Verdiblancos’ transfer business in the final days of the window will depend on whether they will be able to sign the 25-year-old Brazilian.
Ernesto Valverde’s side are demanding €30m (around €10m more than has previously been claimed) to let their player leave and are not willing to allow him to go out on loan, something the club from Seville are demanding.
Even if they take the ex-Inter Milan on a temporary basis, it would cost Quique Setién’s side €6m, which is likely to make it difficult to bring in other new players to the club.
Meanwhile, the Spanish club are in advanced negotiations with Pep Guardiola’s side and their versatile player. However, Betis will have to wait for the Ukrainian’s transfer to be completed because they have to see how things pan out in their efforts to sign Rafinha.
If Betis decide to bring Zinchenko to the club, it will be on a loan deal with a purchase option of close to €10m and there are still few details left for the deal to take shape.
Zinchenko and City have to wait and see what happens with Rafinha.
