Earlier this week, Brazilian outlet Lance featured a story reporting that Gabriel Jesus’s staff is already getting prepared for the striker’s departure from Manchester City.
It was claimed that with Erling Haaland seeming close to joining Pep Guardiola’s side, the club are now expected to accept bids for the Brazilian, who’d like to have more minutes elsewhere.
Since that story was put out, it nearly sounds like Lance started a campaign for Gabriel Jesus to actually leave the club.
They first published a piece telling five reasons for him to move out, and now bring a story about his ‘trajectory’ at Manchester City.
It turns out that in this last piece, they for the first time mention clubs who are interested in the player, and those are said to be Barcelona and Juventus.
Lance writes that the Catalan and the Turin side both made ‘enquiries’ to sign the Manchester City striker, even though there are no further details on which of them would be closer on signing him.
It’s said the player is ‘likely’ to be elsewhere next season, despite his contract running until 2023.
He’s currently valued by Transfermakrt at €50m.
