We covered a report from AS on August 17th, who claimed Real Betis are interested in taking Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko on a loan deal.
Pep Guardiola has left him out of the squad for his side’s first three matches of this season, including the Community Shield.
Mundo Deportivo‘s report also mentions the Los Verdiblancos’ interest in the 21-year-old and claim they have already contacted the Premier League winners about their player.
The former Barcelona manager’s brother, Pere Guardiola, manages the English club’s boss and Betis players Junior and William Carvalho, and is currently negotiating with City for the Ukrainian international.
Quique Setién’s side are ready to buy the player from the Etihad outfit and as a part of the deal, will include a buyback option so that City could re-sign him, if they intend to do so in the future.
Zinchenko is not included in Pep’s plan for this season and City have ‘opened the door’ for transfer.
