Considering how well Gabriel Jesus has taken to the Premier League, the arrival of Kylian Mbappé at Manchester City in the summer makes little sense.

Then again, if Sergio Agüero’s time at the Etihad is close to coming to an end (which we highly doubt), Pep Guardiola could easily have marked the Monaco forward as a suitable alternative for his plans.

Still, Le 10 Sport in France are absolutely convinced the Premier League club are after the young prodigy, and that their Spanish manager is prepared to do pretty much anything to have him at his disposal next season.

According to the French magazine, steps have already been taken to get this done, with Manchester City getting in touch with Monaco about a possible summer deal.

In fact, the Citizens are reported to have told the Ligue 1 leaders they would be prepared to part with around €110m in order to convince them to let Mbappé go.

Considering Manchester United have been reported to have made an offer of around £80m already for the youngster, seeing Manchester City top that wouldn’t entirely be surprising.

After all, neither club want to be the ‘noisy neighbour’ these days.
