In fact, the Citizens are reported to have told the Ligue 1 leaders they would be prepared to part with around €110m in order to convince them to let Mbappé go.
While the offer wasn’t official, Le10 Sport say the figure was put forward verbally by the English club.
Considering Manchester United have been reported to have made an offer of around £80m already for the youngster, seeing Manchester City top that wouldn’t entirely be surprising.
After all, neither club want to be the ‘noisy neighbour’ these days.
