Back on Wednesday, it was reported by the Brazilian media that Manchester City would have a representative watching Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick in the match against Fortaleza.

That information was shared by ESPN Brasil, in a story which had the youngster’s father pointing out there are several clubs who’ve been interested in the 16-year-old.

Well, Endrick not only had his first start for the first team, but also scored a goal and had another good performance in what was just his fifth appearance, and as journalist Jorge Nicola features an update on the situation, he claims Manchester City liked what they saw.

The reporter claims to have spoken to the forward’s staff, and on his Youtube channel, he brings many details on how the visit went, claiming Pep Guardiola’s side are about to make a big for the youngster.

“Representatives of Real Madrid and Manchester City were at Allianz Parque. Information that has been confirmed by a person from the player’s staff. By the way, the person from Real and the person from Manchester City already made contact throughout Thursday to say that they intend to make a proposal soon.”

“They are quite delighted. First with all of Endrick’s technical ability. Then with his great relationship with the athletes, and more than that, with the engagement with the fans. They could see at Allianz Parque, with more than 30 thousand people, how much Endrick, at just 16 years old, is capable of motivating and mobilizing fans. All this counts, especially for Real Madrid, which is a club that loves having players capable of making noise, of stirring up, in short, that story of the Galacticos.”

The truth is that Manchester City may even bid for Endrick now, but that doesn’t make them a lot closer to the signing.

It’s no secret all of Europe’s big clubs want him, and the very same Nicola reported this week that Chelsea are about to place an offer for the player as well.
