Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani will cost at least €100m this summer if anyone wishes to get him from Eintracht Frankfurt.

That’s according to their sporting director Markus Krösche, who has insisted to Krösche Sky Sports Deutschland, via Foot Mercato, that their asking price will be high if anyone asks about the player.

Kolo Muani has established himself as one of the rising young stars of Europe with his performances for the Bundesliga side this season, with 11 goals and 12 assists in 24 games in the Bundesliga this season.

He’s also been making waves on the international scene, establishing himself in France’s star studded squad and earning rave reviews from the likes of Kylian Mbappe.

That’s led to increased speculation about his future, with big clubs in Europe thought to be keen, including Manchester United, who have been linked for months as they seek out a striker for next season.

Indeed a recent report made it clear they “really want” the Frenchman, with the striker fuelling rumours by saying he’ll look at his future at the end of the season.

It seems Eintracht Frankfurt have no intention of selling him on the cheap, though, with Krösche reportedly telling Sky Sports Deutschland that “Kolo Muani is €100m minimum. We made it clear that we didn’t want to sell the best artists. There is no reason for it and it will stay that way.”

That is very much a warning sign to the likes of Manchester United, who will have to pay a premium price if they are as keen as has been suggested.

That €100m price tag won’t come as a surprise to them given it’s been touted for some time, but Krösche coming out and stating it publicly is a bold move.

Whether it’s a fee United consider reasonable remains to be seen, although they have shown a willingness to splash the cash for Erik ten Hag since his arrival last summer.
