According to Turkiye Gazetesi, Besiktas goalkeeper Loris Karius has told Liverpool that he wants his Besiktas contract to be terminated.

After Besiktas manager Senol Gunes publicly told the Turkish media that he would love to play Karius’ back up Tolga Zengin if he was available, the German goalkeeper said his situation in Istanbul is no longer comfortable for him.

Then came claims Karius hasn’t been paid by Besiktas for the past four months and was launching a FIFA complaint.

Subsequently Turkiye Gazetesi say Karius has spoken with Liverpool and told his parent club that he wants to end his loan spell with Besiktas early.

It’s also reported the 25 year old is considering a Bundesliga return, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Fortuna Dusseldorf said to be interested in his services.

There have also been reports in the past week the Super Lig want to replace the Liverpool player with Fulham’s Fabri.

Karius has made 27 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions this season.
