For the past week or so, there have been several reports stating that Liverpool and Real Madrid will battle it out for Aurélien Tchouaméni.

On May 25th, we covered claims made in France which stated the Reds ‘will accelerate’ efforts to sign the AS Monaco star after the Champions League final.

Apart from Liverpool and the La Liga winners, Paris Saint-Germain are also in the picture for the midfielder.

Marca on Thursday state Kylian Mbappé is endorsing the France international’s signing for the club.

It’s also claimed the player has a ‘seductive proposal on the table’ from Liverpool. Jürgen Klopp’s side, however, will face competition from both PSG and Real Madrid. The latter reactivated their interest in Tchouaméni after Mbappé’s refusal to join them this summer.

The Monaco star has confessed to his present teammates that his future could go through the Spanish side. In this sense, his agents are moving to reach an easy agreement with Real Madrid, even though they have an important offer from PSG.

Marca state the situation sounds like it is a battle between PSG and Real Madrid, but the reality is that Carlo Ancelotti’s side have moved quickly to try to seal the deal.

Tchouaméni’s suitors are hopeful that his employer ‘keeps their feet on the ground’ to allow them to close his signing for ‘around €60m’.

Although Marca state the player ‘chooses Real Madrid, Liverpool could still have a chance to secure his signature this summer, if their proposal can convince both Tchouaméni and Monaco.
