On Monday, Calciomercato reported West Ham United and Crystal Palace have ‘timidly tested the ground’ for Aaron Ramsey.
Apart from the two London clubs, Liverpool are also looking at the Juventus player.
That’s according to Tutto Juve, who provide a short update on the Reds identifying the 29-year-old as one of their summer targets.
Ian Rush left the Serie A side for Liverpool [for his second spell] and the outlet explain the Welshman could also take a similar route as his compatriot in joining the Merseyside club.
It’s claimed the former Arsenal man’s name is included in Jürgen Klopp’s ‘notebook,’ which is likely to also include other players he’s targeting in the upcoming window.
The midfielder has two more years left on his contract and the report states the Old Lady would ‘not ask for much’ to allow the midfielder to leave the club.
Tutto Juve state the Turin club would initially ask around €20m. They are also ready to offer a ‘discount’ by dropping their demands to €12m and this would be done with a view to getting rid of the Wales international’s high salary.
For now, Klopp has the player’s name in his ‘notebook’ and there isn’t anything from the report to indicate the Anfield club have actually made any efforts to sign Ramsey.
