Spanish side Sevilla are already concerned with Liverpool’s visit to the city for their Champions League match next week.
As reported by outlet AS today, the La Liga side are worried about the Reds who will travel to Spain without tickets, something that is ‘usual’ for English fans.
The concern is because Sevilla already had similar problems this season, when local ticket owners sold home seats for Spartak Moscow fans.
Now the attention is doubled for the Liverpool match because it’s claimed the same thing happened in Basel for the clubs’ clash in the Europa League Final, when some Reds, who AS call ‘English hooligans’, managed to get into Sevilla’s sector.
That episode created confrontations which the Spanish club don’t want to happen again, and that’s why they will keep a surveillance over ticket sales for the next game.
With the away tickets already sold out by Liverpool, it seems that those who travel expecting a last-minute opportunity won’t get many chances this time.
