As Liverpool midfielder Allan is reportedly ‘on his way’ to Brazil, outlet Globo Esporte brings a big story about him this Wednesday.
The 21-year-old is ready to join Fluminense, where he’s moving on a loan deal until the summer, with the possibility of extending the spell to the end of the year.
Globo Esporte recalls some of the compliments Allan has received from manager Jurgen Klopp, who claimed to be impressed when he first saw the player in training.
But the midfielder was never able to feature for the Reds because of the lack of a working visa, as he doesn’t hold an EU passport.
Globo Esporte says the reason he spent the first part of the season at Eintracht Frankfurt was in the hope his number of appearances could help him get the work permit. However, with few games played, the solution didn’t work.
As Allan left Internacional to join Liverpool at the age of 18, he’s finally having the chance to play professionally in Brazil. However, for him to get a permit to feature in the Premier League now, he would likely have to be called up to the national team.
