The Spanish media can’t completely decide whether Liverpool remain in the race for Jude Bellingham or if they’re moving for other, cheaper, targets.

What they are convinced of is that the Borussia Dortmund player is Real Madrid’s priority target for the summer window.

Friday’s edition of Sport covers Los Blancos interest, and also mentions Liverpool and Manchester City. It’s explained the Bundesliga club are looking to receive more than €100m for their player, using the interest of multiple clubs to their advantage.

However, it’s then insisted Real Madrid won’t enter an auction and are determined to see €100m as the ceiling, unwilling to go any higher than that.

Meanwhile, according to Sport, Liverpool and City are ‘willing to throw the kitchen sink’ at the signing, and ready to pay a higher fee.

Real Madrid have the financial strength to compete for Bellingham with the Premier League clubs, but they simply don’t want to overpay, and that’s why they see €100m as their limit.

Sport believe the ‘coming days’ will be key for the move, although they don’t explicitly explain why.
