In their Sunday edition, Gazzetta dello Sport take a look at Inter Milan transfers, and with the club having already secured Rafinha’s signing from Barcelona, they’re set to move on to other deals.

Chief among them is Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge.

Gazzetta dello Sport say the Sturridge transfer is ‘on pole’ to be the next completed, largely because Liverpool are said to be willing to loan the player.

Another advantage for the Sturridge deal is that the striker has already given his agreement to the move, report the Italian newspaper.

There’s no talk of a compulsory buying clause being included in a loan, which would give power to the Serie A side and they could test Sturridge out before seriously committing themselves long term.

AS Roma had also been linked to the Liverpool player, but Gazzetta believe that track is now dead with no serious interest from the Rome club.

Sturridge to Inter Milan rumours started a couple of weeks ago in the Italian media, with it being reported the Liverpool player had offered himself to the club.
