It seems like the European media manage to find a new midfielder to link to Liverpool every single day.

Yet to replace Georginio Wijnaldum following his decision to leave the Reds on a free and head over to Paris Saint-Germain, the Anfield side have been named alongside many names, including Franck KessiƩ.

The Ivory Coast internationalā€™s contract at Milan runs out in the summer, presenting many clubs around Europe with a great opportunity to sign a dominating player for no transfer fee.

However, he isnā€™t the only one, with Marcelo Brozović in the same situation at Inter.

Thatā€™s why it isnā€™t all that surprising to see Liverpool being thrown into the mix for the Croatian, as Calciomercato look at what is going on at San Siro.

Brozovicā€™s ā€˜priority is for Interā€™, but the club have yet to meet his renewal demands of around ā‚¬6m/year, meaning a door is slowly opening for teams willing to offer him more.

Thatā€™s where Liverpool coming, described as being among ā€˜several sides entering this scenario, ready to seize the opportunityā€™, alongside Paris Saint-Germain, and most recently Barcelona following some claims in the Catalan press.

Whether all this is to ā€˜flush out Inter and try to accelerate the turning point on the extensionā€™ remains to be seen, but thereā€™s no denying the Anfield club do need a new midfielder, and Brozović would fit that bill.
