The rumours linking Premier League clubs to the Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech continue. This time, Liverpool seem to be the strongest club in the race, but Everton are there too.
On Friday, there are updates coming from Italy saying the Reds have been making sure to show they’re in for the 25-year-old.
Calcio Mercato claims that the player’s agent has recently been in England and Italy, with Liverpool ‘renewing’ their interest in the starlet.
However, the website writes that there have been no official offers from the Reds yet, and it’s still not known how much the club would spend on his signing.
Now there should be some local competition for Liverpool to sign Ziyech, because besides Borussia Dortmund, Everton would also be in the race.
The midfielder has an impressive record of nine goals and 17 assists in Eredvise this season, making him one of the most chased players in the Dutch transfer market.
Last summer we covered claims of Liverpool interest, and even talks being held, and in April Everton were brought back into the equation.
