It’s been a while since we saw anything about Dejan Lovren in Italy, and that might be because Milan were getting some other priorities sorted first.
Patrick Cutrone to Wolverhampton Wanderers quickly became the talk of the town, as did the arrival of his replacement, Rafael Leao.
With those all but done, the Serie A side can focus on other departments, which includes their defence and possibly the Liverpool centre-back.
Already meeting with the player’s agents in the past, Milan could end up doing so again, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, as Bjorn Bezemer (one of his representatives) is expected to arrive in the Italian city later on Tuesday.
However, it isn’t a guarantee, especially due to the club’s likely signing of Leo Duarte (also a centre-back), which could push Lovren a bit further down the list of priorities.
One to keep an eye on, as the Liverpool man isn’t Bezemer’s only client who is attracting interest in Italy these days.
For example, Kaan Ayhan, currently at Fortuna Düsseldorf, is said to have caught the eye of Atalanta.
