The Portuguese media continues to be pretty confident that Sporting and Liverpool will soon find a deal for the transfer of Rafael Camacho.
It’s A Bola who writes today that the player is ‘closer’ to an Alvalade move, since the deal is almost done.
The newspaper claims Liverpool were demanding €10m at first, with Sporting only offering half of it. But after some ‘patience’, the clubs are now closer to finding an agreement.
It’s said that in order to convince Liverpool, it’s likely that the deal with give the Reds a percentage of a future sale, as well as a buy-back clause.
A Bola claims that Rafael Camacho is keen on returning to Sporting, since he has ’emotional bonds’ with the Portuguese side.
He also wants the process to be accelerated, otherwise he will have to join Liverpool’s squad at Melwood for preseason… something he wants to avoid.
