While it isn’t official yet, it’s almost guaranteed that Divock Origi will leave Liverpool on a free to sign for Milan.
The Serie A side have been in long talks with the Belgian’s entourage for the past few months, and while there is nothing public just yet, the belief is that it’s all sorted.
This is what Corriere dello Sport all but confirm on Wednesday, looking at who Milan will be signing in the summer, which will include the Liverpool forward.
The Italian newspaper state the Belgium International ‘has had several proposals’ from clubs all around the world, but he’s made his choice.
Corriere point out he ‘has decided to join Milan’ and he will ‘close with the Rossoneri’ once his season at Liverpool is over.
The 27-year-old boasts a rather disappointing 572 minutes of football this season, spread over 17 appearances in all competitions, during which he has scored six goals and provided three assists.
While he did make a nine minute cameo in the 2-0 win over Villarreal last week, Origi did not feature for Liverpool in the return 3-2 leg on Tuesday evening.
