Although the Portuguese press have seemed pretty excited to link Rafael Camacho to Sporting in the past few days, it’s now claimed he’s actually more keen to stay in England.

Newspaper O Jogo reports today that despite the Lions’ wish to bring the player back to Portugal, he would actually prefer to continue in the Premier League, where he could soon be playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It’s said that Wolves’ interest in Camacho has already been communicated to his agents, as there’s the intention to bring him to Monileux at the end of the season.

He’s now ‘closer’ to that move.

Last week, outlet Record had claimed Camacho would give Sporting some priority in case of a Liverpool exit. So it sounds like a chance of moving to Nuno Espírito Santo’s side has changed his outlook.
