Over the weekend, L’Equipe provided a short update on Liverpool looking at Lille’s Renato Sanches.

It was explained the midfielder’s performances for Portugal at Euro 2020 have aroused interest from the Reds and the Gunners.

These claims are once again relayed in today’s edition of the same newspaper, along with additional information.

It’s claimed the 23-year-old’s performance for his country ‘has been noticed’ by Jürgen Klopp’s side and he could leave the Ligue 1 winners this summer, if the ‘offer is satisfactory’.

The former Bayern Munich man has two years left on his contract and the newspaper doesn’t specify any figures or provide a range, which can convince the French club to cut ties with the player.

Sanches has the experience of playing in the Premier League from the time he spent on loan at Swansea City during the 2017/18 campaign, the same season they were relegated to the Championship.

Liverpool, for now, have ‘noticed’ Sanches at the European championship and whether they would take further steps to sign him isn’t mentioned in L’Equipe’s report.
