Callum Hudson-Odoi’s contract at Chelsea will run down in 2020.
The winger was a transfer target for Bayern Munich in January, but the Bundesliga winners were unable to land him in the winter market.
Despite the disappointment, Bayern still remain interested in the recently capped England international and Sport Bild in Germany claims the Blues would negotiate for the 18-year-old’s transfer, if they receive a minimum offer of €50m.
It’s further claimed the Bavarians could possibly face competition from Liverpool in signing the attacker as the report explains the Merseyside club have ‘kept an eye’ on Hudson-Odoi.
Another German outlet Kicker now claims the German champions are ‘still in the balance’ in race to sign the player, while the same report explains the teenager’s agent recently ‘held a conversation’ with Liverpool.
Interestingly, Kicker also claims the west London club have no plans to part ways with Hudson-Odoi in the summer, even if he doesn’t sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Regarding Chelsea’s stance on Hudson-Odoi, Sport Bild and Kicker have differing claims.
It’s got to be unlikely Chelsea would look well on a move to Liverpool.
