For the past few days, we’ve been seeing various reports saying Arsenal are set to keep an eye on the Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 18-year-old faced Liverpool at Anfield last night, and the Gunners reportedly had a scout there just to watch him.
But it’s not only Unai Emery’s side who are interested. According to reports from Italy, even the Reds are taking the chance to watch the youngster.
Calcio Mercato writes that along with Juventus and Inter Milan, Liverpool are another side who should give Arsenal some competition for this signing.
Despite being a central midfielder, Szoboszlai has some impressive stats this season, with three goals and three assists in ten appearances so far.
Rumours from the English press have been claiming that £15m should be enough to take him from the German side, although the list of interested clubs makes it look like an auction may be about to come.
Szoboszlai had a reasonable performance, playing on the left of midfield.
