Liverpool are one more Premier League side interested in the signing of Red Bull Bragantino midfielder Eric Ramires, according to reports from Brazil.
Journalist Jorge Nicola is the one breaking the news today, claiming there are ‘talks between the clubs’ regarding a summer transfer.
Liverpool are still to make an official bid for the move, and ‘the big problem’ is that Red Bull Bragantino are currently demanding €15m for the transfer.
This story shows up in an interesting time because earlier this week, reports from Brazil also claimed that Everton were interested in the signing.
A couple of outlets claimed the Toffees were studying the possibility of bidding for the midfielder this summer, and one of the reports even claimed that Bragantino’s request was considered to be too high.
Now with Liverpool joining the race, an interesting Merseyside derby for the 21-year-old could be coming up.
