Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has been offered to Napoli as the Reds look to cash in on the Serbian midfielder this summer.
Grujic has spent the season on loan at Hertha Berlin but is set to return to Anfield when that deal expires.
However, he will find a regular place in Jürgen Klopp’s side as hard to come by as it was when he departed and as such, a permanent exit from Anfield could be on the cards.
Liverpool have been shopping him around to try and find a suitor and according to Arena Napoli the latest to be offered his signature is Napoli.
They explain that during talks with agent Fali Ramadani, who represents Nikol Maksimovic and Kalidou Koulibaly as well as Grujic, the Liverpool midfielder was ‘proposed’ to the Serie A side.
They had been keen on him before his move to Liverpool from Red Star, and there’s a belief he could be an ideal replacement for Allan, who has widely been tipped to head to Merseyside with Everton.
Liverpool are hoping to ‘collect’ €25m for Grujic, but it’s felt that they are more likely to get close €15-20m for him in any potential move.
Napoli are not the only Italian club he has been offered to, with him also being proposed to AC Milan and Lazio. They, though, are likely to face competition from Hertha Berlin for his signature.
Grujic has spent the last two seasons at the German club, and they are keen to secure him for a third season according to BZ.
Whether Liverpool would be willing to sanction that isn’t mentioned, although it seems unlikely if they can get money from Italy for him at any point.
A sale and big profit would be preferable for them, meaning they are likely to push for that rather than allowing him to spend another year out on loan.
