Liverpool are reportedly among the clubs who are interested in Sporting striker Gelson Dala.
As reported by newspaper A Bola this Thursday, the Reds are along with Bayern Munich and Nuremberg in the race for the Angolan player.
A Bola claims that Liverpool have been following the striker since he signed for Sporting in 2017. Even though he has only two appearances for the first team, it’s said that the Anfield side kept an eye on him in the reserve squad as well.
The 22-year-old is currently having a loan spell at Rio Ave. He’s made seven appearances for the club this season so far, contributing three goals and three assists. Not bad at all.
The newspaper claims that Liverpool are considering a bid to sign Dala as early as January.
Since his loan at Rio Ave should run until next summer, it seems the three clubs would have to sort a deal for that.
The player is currently protected by Sporting with a €60m release clause.
