It’s little surprise that Spanish newspaper AS have dragged Liverpool into the chase for Sandro Ramirez. The Malaga player is very much a man of the moment, with 6 goals in 6 games, and his low release clause will attract interest.
Liverpool could snap Sandro up for around €6m, and given Jurgen Klopp won’t have an endless pot of money to spend this summer, it’s a good deal for the Anfield manager.
At 21 years of age, Sandro has plenty of time to improve as a player, and Klopp would be adding an option for both now and in the future.
Sandro moving to Liverpool would depend on the future of several strikers already at the club.
Klopp has preferred to play Roberto Firmino upfront, but he has Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings all in his squad, at least one would have to go to make signing Sandro realistic.
Whilst the links are understandable, Liverpool don’t seem one of the likelier destinations right now for Sandro.
