With the World Cup now over for England, players like Jude Bellingham will have a few days of break before heading back to their respective clubs.

The midfielder will go back to Dortmund, where his future will undoubtedly be discussed, as the player is of interest to many clubs in England, including Liverpool.

The Reds have been linked with the former Birmingham starlet for a very long time, and with Jürgen Klopp desperately needing some help in his midfield, the England star would be perfect for him.

However, that comes at a price, as it’s been widely reported the Bundesliga side want around €150m for their star, who, unlike Erling Haaland, doesn’t have a release clause in his contract.

This means Dortmund have a lot of power, hence the high price, but that doesn’t appear to have put Liverpool off.

Over in Spain, where we know the likes of Real Madrid are also keen, it’s being reported by Cadena SER on Carrusel Deportivo that the Reds have ‘accelerated like crazy’, and have ‘maintained contact with the player’s parents’.

In fact, the news, which comes from their journalist, Pacojo, insists that the player’s parents ‘want him to go back to England’, thus agreeing with the idea of a move to Merseyside.

Now, we’ll have to wait and see if that is to Liverpool or somewhere else, but it’s clear Bellingham would fit in Klopp’s plans and tactics like a glove.

The Reds just now need to find the money to convince Dortmund to let him go.
