Sead Haksabanovic has been speaking to several Swedish media outlets over the past week or so, with the West Ham owned player a much wanted man after signing on loan for IFK Norrköping.
Earlier this week we covered comments from the 19 year old in which he explained he wanted to get his joy of football back after a difficult spell at Malaga in the first half of the current season.
Not playing much for the Spanish club had knocked his general happiness a little, and the aim of the Sweden loan was to get everything back on track quickly.
When asked about the differences between English and Swedish football, Haksabanovic was clear: “It must be the money. That’s the biggest difference. But I am very surprised at how high quality everything is in Norrköping, it is much higher than I expected.”
Speaking to podcast Studio Allsvenskan, picked up by Fotbollskanalen, the young Hammer brought money up again.
When asked why he didn’t join AIK, who were also interested, from West Ham in the winter market, he explained: “It was too little money. Then Jozo (Palac, agent) called me and said that Norrköping had given me a better contract. Then Norrköping came into the picture for me.”
The club had wanted to get Haksabanovic on a permanent deal, but West Ham would only agree to a loan.
