After a terrible start to the season, Besiktas lost to Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava on Thursday night and Liverpool loanee Loris Karius didn’t cover himself in glory.
Karius is currently in his second season with the Super Lig side after securing a loan move during the 2018 summer window.
The German goalkeeper made a huge error which led to Bratislava’s opening goal and he conceded three more, with two of those coming in injury time.
After the game Sabah went with the headline ‘Like a Joke’ to describe the Liverpool player and his overall performance has been criticised in the Turkish press.
Sporx say ‘The Loris Karius nightmare continues’ and report the former Mainz goalkeeper could have done a lot better in the game.
Karius’ loan spell at Besiktas will come to an end at the end of the season and if he continues to make errors it’s likely he will return to Liverpool next summer.
However, it’s unlikely Karius has a future at Liverpool with Alisson and Adrian ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield.
