Fotospor claim Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal isn’t with happy Zanka’s performances since his arrival in the summer and is already looking to replace the Dane in the new year, with Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo said to be an option.

The Argentine was linked with a move to Fenerbahce during the summer transfer window but reports from the Turkish media suggested his wage demands proved to be an issue for the Yellow Canaries. Subsequently, they strengthened their defence by bringing in Adil Rami when he was released by Marseille.

However, Fotospor report Fener’s interest in Rojo isn’t dead and the Super Lig side could look to make another attempt to convince the Manchester United player over a move to Istanbul.

Rojo made his first start of the season against Astana on Thursday night but it’s seems unlikely boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will use him frequently.

Fotospor also report the player could join Fenerbahce on a six-month loan deal in January and could be a decent addition to their squad considering he can play either at centre back or as a left-back.
