Alfredo Morelos has been linked with a move away from Rangers and three days ago, Foot Mercato reported Espanyol are believed to be ‘moving’ for the Colombia international, who is valued around €16m.
Earlier reports indicated Amiens striker Moussa Konaté has emerged as a transfer target for Steven Gerrard’s side and it would make sense, if Morelos is allowed to leave.
French outlet Courrier Picard discusses the Ligue 1 side’s potential transfers, both in terms of incomings and outgoings and the 26-year-old gets a mention.
It’s claimed the Senegal international is one of the players who can leave the club as he is being ‘followed’ by Rangers.
However, the Scottish Premiership side will only be able to sign Konaté if they manage to offload players from their current squad and the report explains Rangers are unable to downsize.
Therefore, Konaté is expected to continue at Amiens beyond the transfer window, unless something changes at the last minute.
