Leicester City are ‘seriously interested’ in signing Real Sociedad winger Adnan Januzaj.
The Foxes allowed their star player Riyad Mahrez to leave the King Power Stadium and join Manchester City earlier in the transfer window, and are looking for some magic dust.
Claude Puel’s side are in the market to find a replacement for the Algerian international and Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws claims they have set their sights on the former Manchester United man.
‘Leicester dreams of Januzaj’ and the English club have ‘already made a bid’ for the player, but the report doesn’t mention if the Spanish outfit have accepted or rejected the proposal.
Januzaj left Old Trafford for the La Liga outfit last summer and Manchester United have the first option to re-sign the wide-man, but it is unlikely that Jose Mourinho’s side will make an approach for him.
There is also interest in Januzaj from unnamed clubs in Italy and France. The report doesn’t mention if Real Sociedad are willing to sell Januzaj or what the price would be if they are.
