Dennis Praet hasn’t featured for Leicester City this season and was left on the bench in the first three league matches.
His playing situation could soon change if a move to Torino materialises. TuttoMercatoWeb reported on Sunday that ‘negotiations are ready to start’ between the Serie A side and the Foxes for the midfielder’s loan transfer.
Torino seem to have made progress if a report from Sky Italia is to be believed.
It’s claimed the Italian club and Brendan Rodgers’ side have reached an agreement over a loan deal with ‘right of redemption’ set at €15m. The Belgium international will have to undergo medical tests before signing a contract with the Turin club.
Within the report, it’s said the former Sampdoria man will join on a temporary deal, with the ‘right of redemption’. They further add the Leicester player has ‘already undergone medical examinations’ and is ‘now ready to sign the contract’ with Torino.
A move away from Leicester will benefit Praet, if he manages to get regular playing time at Torino.
