Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi has agreed on personal terms with Borussia Dortmund, but the Blues are refusing to let him leave on loan.

That’s according to Sky Germany journalist Max Bielefeld, who says the situation could change if Chelsea can sign a replacement before deadline day.

Hudson-Odoi has long been linked with a move to Germany, with Bayern Munich pushing for his signature on several occasions.

It’s been suggested that he could move again this summer after finding himself down the pecking order in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

Borussia Dortmund are now reportedly keen as they continue to fill the hole left by Jadon Sancho’s departure, and Sky Germany provide more information today.

Max Bielefeld reports that ‘everything is set’ between the Chelsea man and Dortmund in terms of personal terms.

However, the Blues are refusing to let the youngster leave on loan at this moment in time, presumably because he remains a part of Tuchel’s plans.

However, that situation could change if they were to get a replacement through the door before the window closes tomorrow.

He says ‘all eyes’ are now on Atlético Madrid midfielder Saúl, although the Spanish press have made it clear he’s unlikely to move at this point, so that would seemingly rule out Hudson-Odoi going to Germany.

Things can always change, though, so this is one to keep an eye on over the next 48 hours.
